Description: While Sauron possessed the One Ring, his victory seemed almost inevitable, for it allowed him to surpass his limits, dominate the minds of his enemies, and there was very little in Middle-Earth that could stand before the might of his armies. And yet after Sauron lost the One Ring in the Battle of the Last Alliance, he never tried to create a new ring to replace it.
